Teamwork makes the dream work!
Here are the presentations of the people involved from Artelys within our JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA project!
Maxime Chammas and Thomas Brouhard are in charge of Artelys‘ contributions to the JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA project.
Maxime Chammas holds a MSC in applied mathematics from the Ecole Polytechnique and ENSTA Paristech. He also has a master’s degree in game theory, optimization and modeling in economics from the UPMC (Paris 6). Arrived at Artelys in 2012, he now acts as project director and coordinates numerous techno-economic studies on electricity, gas, hydrogen and heat sectors, and especially on sector integration and flexibilities (networks, CHPs, hybrid heating, power-to-gas, etc.). Recently, he coordinated the study PEPS5 on storage (of electricity, cold, heat and hydrogen) and power-to-gas for ATEE and studies on P2X development in Argentina. He is the project director for Artelys’s contributions in JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA.
Thomas Brouhard holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Université Paris-Saclay and an engineering degree from Mines Paris. He joined Artelys in 2022 after completing a joint PhD program between French energy supplier Electricité de France and Université Paris-Saclay, working on the evolution of European bidding zones for wholesale electricity markets. Within Artelys, Thomas is a consultant and project manager in the energy sector and is involved in R&D activities regarding energy system modelling tools. In the JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA project, Thomas will supervise and participate in the modelling activities involving the Artelys Crystal Super Grid modelling platform and support additional activities like scenario definition and dissemination activities.
