Joyce Kabui

Joyce is the Africa Manager for the Green Hydrogen Organisation, where she supports the activities of the Gree nHydrogen Organisation and provides coordinating support to the The Africa Green Hydrogen Alliance (AGHA).  Prior to this role, Joyce worked as a Policy and Communications Associate for the Power and Climate team at the Rockefeller Foundation New York, where she supported the The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP). Joyce previously supported the USAID-funded Power Africa East Africa Energy Program under the primary contractor RTI International and Oxfam International in Kenya.

She has 10+ years of Africa-wide experience in international development in strategy, policy, communications, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and partnership building. Joyce has worked across different sectors, including energy, climate, extractives, community resilience and preparedness, governance and accountability, inequality, food security and livelihoods, and humanitarian response.

She holds a master’s in Global Development from Cornell University and a master’s in communication from United States International University (USIU) Africa.
