Here is who is working behind Forschungszentrum Jülich‘s JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA project.

Dr. Dr. Amin Lahnaoui, holds a PhD in Industrial Science and Technology from ‘Institut Polytechnique de Paris’ in France with multi-disciplinary background. His main research interest focuses on Energy analysis and technology evaluation to develop models and scenarios for future energy systems, and to explore strategies to integrate them taking into account different technical, economic, ecological and social interdependencies. He is interested in Hydrogen economy and innovative transport and storage technologies, and infrastructure deployment and optimization.

Gianmarco Aniello holds a double-degree M.Sc. in International Economics from the University of Groningen and from the University of Göttingen, and is a PhD candidate at the Chair of Energy Systems and Energy Economics of the Ruhr University Bochum. His main research interests focus on the economic evaluation of energy technologies, on the drivers of technology diffusion, on the socio-economic impacts of the  energy transition and on the role of the regulatory framework.

Forschungszentrum Jülich has also expanded its team with the integration of two students from the WASCAL International Master Program in Energy and Green Hydrogen (IMP-EGH). Their work focuses on assessing hydrogen applications in Africa and analysing the demand for energy in Ghana, thus enabling synergies between IEK-STE’s work for JGA and its role within IMP-EGH. https://lnkd.in/exjYWR5N
