The past few weeks have been intense and full of publications, we take the opportunity to tell you about IRESEN – Research Institute for Solar Energy and New Energies
The Institute of Research in Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN) was created on the bangs of the “Assises de l’Energie” in 2011 at the initiative of the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Environment as well as several public and private actors of the energy sector to accompany the national energy strategy through applied market-oriented research as well as innovation in green technologies.
IRESEN is today a major actor accompanying the national energy strategy and is positioned on the whole value chain of green innovation, through its two instruments:
– Infrastructures: Network of research and innovation platforms in green technologies.
– Resources Agency: Funding of applied research and collaborative innovation projects.
The Institute also contributes to the development of technology roadmaps in the clean energy sector: Solar Resources, Electric Mobility, # green energy Hydrogen.
👉Role of IRESEN in JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA:
– IRESEN will be responsible for the analysis of the current state of the art on hydrogen strategies and roadmaps in North Africa
– IRESEN will be responsible for the analysis of the current state of the art on hydrogen strategies and roadmaps in North Africa
– IRESEN will provide support for the successful implementation of African hydrogen roadmaps leveraging modeling results towards 2030-2050
– Organization of two physical training events to the benefit of students/researchers, preparing tools and re-adapting project training materials.
