Thanks to DG RTD and Clean Hydrogen Partnership support, our coordinator Università degli Studi di Genova had the opportunity to interact and better understand how to study the potential of natural hydrogen ,free underground natural hydrogen reservoirs, thanks to the collaboration of #HYAFRICA project .
HyAfrica proposes a necessary first step in understanding the potential for extraction and utilization in a range of African countries.
The goal is to assess natural hydrogen resources in the promising regions of Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, and Togo and evaluate their socioeconomic impact.
The project will create strategies for exploiting the hydrogen source and enable institutions in the identified countries to develop roadmaps and actionplans and include hydrogen in their energy systems.
Considering the topic of common interest, HYAFRICA and JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA will interact each other for future joint collaborations.
