First press release

Here is our first press release of the JUST-GREEN AFRH2ICA project!

Africa has a unique potential to harness low-cost renewableenergy to produce greenhydrogen for internal and external markets.
Green hydrogen could become the engine of a development
sustainabledevelopment of the continent, enabling African countries to reduce their environmental impact and make African countries less dependent on fossil fuels, which can create geopolitical problems.

To this end, 11 partners from African and European countries are sharing their key knowledge on hydrogen economics and technologies, to assess how to make the EU and AU hydrogen transition smoother and mutually beneficial.
On 14 February, in fact, all consortium members came together to kick-off this new collaboration by involving its valuable and key stakeholders on 15 February.

European Commission is supporting the Just-Green Afrh2ica project coordinated by the Università degli Studi di Genova, funded within the framework of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership.
